Brazil preserves 66% of its native vegetation on average and, in the Amazon, 82% of native vegetation is preserved. No country in the world has this type of legislation where farmers are required to preserve 25% of their land, in the south, and 80% of their land in the Amazon biome. In other words, on average a farmer in Brazil can only use 50% of their land to produce food and even then, Brazil is a leader in production. The point is to define a middle ground between preserving and feeding the world. In addition, almost a quarter of the area deforested in the Brazilian Amazon throughout its history contained evidence of regeneration. Data indicate growth of more than 70% in forest regeneration between 2004 and 2014. In other words, the regeneration that used to be 10 million hectares became more than 17 million hectares.

There is legislation that greatly limits the purchase of land by foreigners in Brazil. There are no large foreign companies controlling land in Brazil. Since the 1970s, the acquisition of land by foreigners in Brazil has been regulated by Law 5,709/71, which prevents the purchase or lease of land with more than 50 modules by foreigners (which varies from 5 to 110 hectares from region to region). The limit, per municipality, is equivalent to 25% of its territory under the control of citizens or companies of other nationalities.

One of the videos talks about deforestation for oil palm plantations. This is not true. In Brazil, the cultivated area is just over 226 thousand hectares, with the state of Pará being the main producer of palm oil. It should be noted that the plantation followed strict environmental criteria. The lands used in the culture respected the Agroecological Zoning, which delimited the areas with adequate soil and climate conditions that were deforested, or already anthropized.

However, the country is one of the largest food exporters in the world (orange juice, coffee, soybean, corn, meat, ethanol and sugar, etc…). Brazil is currently one of the largest food producers and exporters in the world and is today the most important strategic partner in the production of food on the planet without devastating any of its forests. In addition, Brazil has the cleanest energy matrix in the world. The Brazilian energy matrix is the most renewable in the world. We use 65% hydropower, 9.3% natural gas, 8.6% wind, 8.4% biomass, 1% solar, 2.5% nuclear and only 3.3% coal and 2% oil.

Fact about the indigenous population in Brazil: There are only 900 thousand Indians or 0.4% of the country’s population (213 million people), and more than 13% (approximately 1.2 million square kilometers 1,173,776 km2) of the territory Brazilian territory is reserved for indigenous peoples. The main problem is that leftist and environmentalist parties want the Indians to live like their ancestors producing without the least technology and generally this indigenous population used fires to prepare their lands. About politics, the video is a few years late. The proximity and money “donated” from Brazil to Cuba and Venezuela were policies of leftist governments that are not currently in power. O Brasil preserva 66% da sua vegetação nativa em média e, na Amazonia são 82% de vegetação nativa preservada. Nenhum país do mundo tem esse tipo de legislação onde os fazendeiros são obrigados a preservar 25% de suas terras, isso no sul, e 80% de suas terras no bioma amazônico. Ou seja, em média um fazendeiro no Brasil só pode usar 50% de suas terras para produzir alimentos e mesmo assim o Brasil é líder em produção. A questão é definir um meio termo entre preservar e alimentar o mundo. Além disso, quase um quarto da área desmatada na Amazônia brasileira ao longo de sua história continha indício de regeneração. Dados indicam crescimento de mais de 70% na regeneração da floresta entre 2004 e 2014. Ou seja, a regeneração que era de 10 milhões de hectares passou a ser de para mais de 17 milhões de hectares.

Existe uma legislação que limita muito a compra de terras por estrangeiros no Brasil. Não existe grandes empresas estrangeiras controlando terras no Brasil. Desde a década de 70, a aquisição de terras por estrangeiros no Brasil é regulada pela lei 5.709/71, que impede a compra ou o arrendamento de terras com mais que 50 módulos fiscais por estrangeiros (que varia de 5 a 110 hectares de região para região). O limite, por município, equivale a 25% de seu território sob controle de cidadãos ou empresas de outras nacionalidades.

Em um dos vídeos se fala em desmatamento para plantio de palma de óleo. Isso não é verdade. No Brasil, a área cultivada de pouco mais de 226 mil ha, sendo o estado do Pará o principal produtor de palma de óleo. Deve-se destacar que a plantação seguiu rígidos critérios ambientais. As terras empregadas na expansão da cultura respeitaram o Zoneamento Agroecológico, que delimitou as áreas com condições adequadas de solo e clima e que se encontravam desmatadas, ou já antropizadas.

Contudo, o país é um dos maiores exportadores de alimentos do mundo (Suco de laranja, café, soja, milho, carnes, etanol e açúcar, e etc…). O Brasil é atualmente um dos maiores produtores e exportadores de alimentos do mundo e é hoje o mais importante parceiro estratégico na produção de alimentos do planeta sem devastar nada de suas florestas. Dados da Nasa e estudo da ONU comprovam que o Brasil é o país que mais preserva no mundo.

Além disso o Brasil possui a matriz energética mais limpa do mundo. Matriz energética brasileira é mais renovável do mundo. Usamos 65% de energia hidrelétrica, 9,3% gás natural, 8,6% eólica, 8,4% biomassa, 1% solar, 2,5% energia nuclear e apenas 3,3% de carvão e 2% do petróleo.

Fato sobre a população indígena no Brasil: São apenas 900 mil índios, ou 0,4% da população do país (213 milhões de pessoas) e mais de 13% (aproximadamente 1 milhão e duzentos mil quilômetros quadrados 1.173.776 km²) do território brasileiro são reservados aos povos indígenas. O principal problema que partidos de esquerda e ambientalistas querem que os índios vivam como seus antepassados produzindo sem o mínimo de tecnologia e geralmente essa população indígena usava queimadas para preparar suas terras. Evidente que essa é uma explicação muito resumida.

Sobre politica o vídeo está alguns anos atrasado. A proximidade e o dinheiro “doados” do Brasil para Cuba e Venezuela foram políticas dos governos de esquerda que não estão no poder atualmente. Fato recente que se está investigando é a descoberta do apoio do narcotráfico para os partidos de esquerda Brasileira e mundial.
